Happy New Year 2026!
Thank you very much for all your support over the past year.
Thanks to the kind support and cooperation of many instructors and members,
we were able to reopen the Oshukai Headquarters Dojo in Yomitan Village,
inside the Okinawan Traditional Karate & Kobudo International Training Center,
for the first time in about eleven years.
We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.
By inheriting the spirit of our founder, Sensei Kenyu Chinen, and returning to our roots,
we feel honored to once again train and gather at this meaningful place.
This year also marks an important milestone:
the 50th anniversary of Oshukai.
A 50th Anniversary Ceremony will be held on
Saturday, May 23, in Marseille, France.
This will be a special opportunity to share the history and spirit of Oshukai with practitioners from around the world.
At this important time,
We will continue to train with dedication, keeping in mind the principles taught by Sensei Kenyu Chinen: Tanren (discipline), Kyudo (the pursuit of the Way), and Harmony.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and guidance in the coming year.
