【Courtesy Visit to the Mayor of Yomitan Village】
On Wednesday, October 22, we had the honor of visiting Mayor Ishimine of Yomitan Village to report on the upcoming seminar and discuss our future prospects.
Sensei Chinen and Mayor Ishimine have shared a long-standing relationship, and we are deeply grateful for the great support we received from the people of Yomitan Village, especially during the 2013 Oshukai International World cup and seminar. Mayor Ishimine also kindly came to support the 2023 Oshukai Demonstration and the 2024 Sensei Chinen Art Exhibition.
It was a great meeting to express our gratitude once again.
Feeling the vibrant cultural spirit of Yomitan—the true “Village of Culture”—we are more determined than ever to dedicate ourselves to the training, promotion, and preservation of traditional Okinawan karate.
